Widgets

"Widgets" are HTML objects which can be stored in the Web Studio "My Stuff" gallery. Each widget contains a script or HTML code and it can be simply dragged onto a page to add a specific function or feature.

After downloading a widget's .ows file, open it with WS4 and you'll see an image on the page. Select the image, hold down the Shift and Ctrl keys on your keyboard and drag it into the My Stuff gallery.  You can then close and even delete the widget .ows file if you want to.

Whenever you want to use the widget, just drag it from My Stuff onto your own page. Some widgets need to be placed "at the front" or "at the back", as indicated by the instructions in the original .ows file and by the "F" and "B" markings on the widget's image.
